Recognizing Evil When We See It

If you follow this blog, this post’s content shouldn’t come as a great surprise.  But, there are two differences: I am re-posting my own post from another site; and this article brings together what has happened for the last 100 years with what is happening today.  Hopefully it will make the ‘picture’ much clearer..?

Recognizing Evil

The World Just Keeps Getting Smaller

Since Kitty Hawk we have found ourselves moving faster and quieter every year — in the air.  However, we may find ourselves doing so under ground or water in the not too distant future.

Elan Musk has proposed a new transportation system which uses: a partial vacuum, levitation, and electromagnetic technology.  The concept is loosely based on the old vacuum tube mail delivery system used in the early 1900’s.  However it will allow travel at speeds never considered before.  And, it may be a good travel option for those who hate to fly!!

Suicide in America — A Loss of Hope

During the 50’s we had to worry about nuclear war because of our relationship with the Russians.  (de ja vue?)  Kids were being training to hide under their desks while in school in case of a nuclear attack..?!  Sounds nuts, huh?

Well today we have a LOT of things to worry about and the count keeps increasing.  In recent years there has been a growing lack of trust in our country (between individuals), and people are feeling it.  Consequently suicides are up — a lot!  How much you ask?  A simple clue is that Americans’ overall life expectancy has declined for the first time since the 1930s!!  (i.e., the depression)  Certainly not good.

The following article was taken from Breakpoint, a Christian website which promotes a better life through faith.  Something that more people should consider.  But, unfortunately there are fewer real Christians in this country every year rather than more.

BreakPoint: America’s Suicide Crisis

If you have an interest in psychology and/or you are a pastor in a church, you should also read the following more detailed report written by a psychologist.  A bit longer, but worth reading — I’m sure you’ll find it worthwhile doing so.

Dying of Despair

My question are:  What can we as individuals do to help the situation (beside taking care of ourselves and not being a further burden on society).  And, where is this all going to lead in the near future..?  My guess is that if we stay on our current track, we’re going to be in big trouble!!?

America’s Suicide Crisis

There’s a great deal happening in this country and to it, all of which is very disheartening.  People are growing weary of the various crazy things happening starting with our ‘fundamental transformation’ under the last administration.

Many may know that among other groups in America, military personnel are currently committing suicide at a rate of “22 per day”!  We could go into the reasons, but I’ll save that for another day.  The following article is a brief synopsis of a longer one written by a psychologist — which is very interesting.  I’d suggest reading at least the shorter one below.

America’s Suicide Crisis

Dying of Despair

It would seem, at least to me, that our country’s citizens are becoming to a boiling point.  Once they become enraged enough, they stop reflecting on themselves and start getting mad at others.  Based on news reports today, it would seem that we are getting close…?

Socialism vs. Communism

I’ve written on this topic before.  However some seem to believe my articles are too extreme in nature — without significant evidence.  So what is the difference between socialism and communism?  A simple explanation is:  socialism is the redistribution of wealth, the taking from those who produce to those who may or may not produce; communism is socialism, but you no longer have any rights.  The government makes all decisions for you…   and you have no say in what happens.  Your constitution is no longer relevant.  Your bill of rights no longer exists.

Awhile back the IRS made the news and was later proven to have acted in a criminal way.  Employees were fired, a bit of flap ensued for a brief period, and then things went back to normal.  Till now….

Read the following article and ask yourself if we have a federal government which is so powerful that it can violate our laws, get away with it (no prosecution), and then thumb their nose at its people with even more egregious action..?

More than 200 IRS personnel who were fired for unethical and even criminal actions in connection with the targeting of conservatives are now back on the job, according to an inspector general’s report.

According to the Office of Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration, 213 people were rehired by the IRS despite a checkered history with the agency.

Those allowed back in between January 2015 and March 2016 include four people who were fired or resigned for failure to properly file their own income taxes. Four had been axed for improperly accessing taxpayer information, 86 others left while being probed for questionable leave, disrupting the workplace or failing to follow instructions, and 27 failed to disclose a conviction or being fired on their applications.

The inspector general’s report shows the audit was requested by an unnamed U.S. senator who was concerned about lax hiring practices at the IRS. The report concludes there was reason to be concerned.

“The IRS has not effectively updated or implemented hiring policies to fully consider past IRS conduct and performance issues prior to making a tentative decision to hire former employees, including those who were terminated or separated during an investigation of a substantiated conduct or performance issue,” said the report.

Out of 7,500 hires in the evaluation period, 213 raised red flags, and six of those were also flagged for improper conduct since returning.

“Although the IRS may have had a valid basis to rehire some of the more than 200 former employees with prior conduct or performance issues, TIGTA has serious concerns about the IRS’s decision to rehire certain employees, such as those who willfully failed to meet their Federal tax responsibilities,” the report stated.

Rep. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, is a fierce critic of the IRS. He told WND and Radio America it’s pretty easy to distill this story.

“You could simplify all that and say they rehired 200-some people who were cheating, lying, and snooping on the American taxpayer. That’s what they were doing and, ‘Oh, we’re going to rehire them now and let them work in the Internal Revenue Service,'” Jordan said.

“You can’t make this stuff up, can you? Just when you think you’ve heard it all about the IRS, they go and rehire people who have had this kind of background,” he said. “It is truly unbelievable.”

Listen to the WND/Radio America interview with Rep. Jim Jordan:

Jordan led the charge to impeach IRS Commissioner John Koskinen for obstructing congressional efforts to investigate the IRS targeting of conservative organizations applying for nonprofit status. GOP leaders tabled the impeachment push, but Jordan said the same corrupt culture obviously still exists at the IRS.

“Remember what they did when they got caught targeting, systematically, for a sustained period of time, they were going after people based on their political beliefs. Political speech rights were under attack by an agency with the power, the clout, the potential influence on your life that the IRS has, that’s what they were doing,” Jordan said.

“It boggles the mind that the same people are still [there]. You almost want to laugh, but you can’t because it’s so serious,” said Jordan, with clear exasperation in his voice.

He said this type of government corruption and incompetence grinds the gears of honest Americans.

“There are a lot of things that make taxpayers mad but a couple in particular: one is when politicians don’t do what they said. A second one is when you have this kind of egregious behavior from the people whose salaries we pay,” Jordan said.

“And, frankly, the third is – and it goes along with the second – is this idea that there are two standards, one set of rules if you and I do something wrong but a different set if you’re part of the politically connected class. If your name is Clinton, Comey, Koskinen, Lerner, Lynch, you get a different set of rules than us regular folk. That’s the part that really bugs the American taxpayer, as well it should.”

Jordan said the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee and a subcommittee that he chairs will be having hearings on this, but Congress has no power over IRS personnel decisions other than to shine the spotlight on problems.

He said the most important step in the coming months will be President Trump’s choice to replace Koskinen as IRS Commissioner. Koskinen’s term ends in November.

While the IRS has tremendous power to meddle in Americans’ finances, Congress has its own financial deadlines coming up, namely a looming debt-ceiling fight and spending decisions for Fiscal Year 2018.

Democrats are already demanding a clean debt-ceiling hike. Jordan said GOP leaders would be foolish to embrace that idea.

“I would find it hard to believe that the speaker of the House (Paul Ryan) would go along with a clean debt-ceiling [increase],” Jordan said. “He understands that we’ve got a $20 trillion debt. You don’t just increase the limit on the credit card without also putting in place things that begin to help you address the real problem, which is that $20 trillion debt burden we now have.

“At the Freedom Caucus, we are opposed to a clean debt ceiling [increase]. We’ve been very clear about that. Every time we’ve increased the debt ceiling, we’ve done something that begins to help us with the huge debt problem that we have,” Jordan said. “Republicans control all of government. We just can’t do that.”

Jordan is not sure what to expect in the appropriations process, which seems destined for another continuing resolution or omnibus package rather ran regular order on individual bills. However, Jordan is resolute in keeping the taxpayer dollars out of the hands of insurance companies.

“One of the big issues that we’ll face is the idea that we’re going to provide these (cost-sharing reduction) payments, these bailouts to the health insurance companies,” he said. “I think that is a big problem, a big concern and something we should not do.”

Jordan is bullish on tax reform getting done in the coming months because “it has to” get done. He is also hoping to resurrect the Obamacare repeal effort. Jordan and two other Freedom Caucus members are circulating a discharge petition, which would force a floor vote on the 2015 “clean” repeal that passed the House and Senate.

But he said getting anything through the Senate will be a very tall order.

“As someone said the other day, ‘I don’t know if the Senate could pass a resolution right now that says motherhood is wonderful.’  It just seems like they can’t get anything passed over there,” Jordan said. “That’s a problem.”

If this doesn’t make your head explode, maybe you’re part of the problem.?

Guarantee of Society Collapse

Vladimir Lenin grabbed onto Karl Marx’s concept of communism and ran with it.  His implementation approach was to create chaos, and once things were ‘sufficiently messed up’ with disorder and angry people, then he brought on revolution and ‘change’.  i.e., the communist party and Soviet Union

But later an Italian by the name of Antonio Gramsci came up with another approach — to distort a society by destroying their value system(s), morals, religion, and any other ‘anchor’ keeping it together — the ‘glue’ per se.  Once that was done and chaos ruled the day, then he brought on revolution.  This should sound familiar given what’s happening in America today…?

You might ask (in case you’ve been stuck in a closet) what good example of such an action be.  Consider the following article from World Net Daily.

WASHINGTON – The push to make children comfortable with transgenderism has reached disturbing new depths, with a California school promoting it to kindergartners by having a 5-year-old boy undergo a “transition ceremony” in front of classmates.

The boy left his classroom at Rocklin Academy Schools in Rocklin dressed as a boy then returned dressed as a girl.

KTXL-TV, a Fox affiliate in Sacramento, reported two books written specifically for young children were read in the class “to illustrate what it means to be transgender.”

The two books were “I am Jazz” and “The Red Crayon,” according to Both are meant to explain transgenderism in a sympathetic way to children ages 4 to 8.

See what American education has become, in “Crimes of the Educators: How Utopians Are Using Government Schools to Destroy America’s Children.”

“I am Jazz” is the story of a boy who thinks he is a girl.

“From the time she was two years old, Jazz knew that she had a girl’s brain in a boy’s body,” the book’s description on says. “She loved pink and dressing up as a mermaid and didn’t feel like herself in boys’ clothing. This confused her family, until they took her to a doctor who said that Jazz was transgender and that she was born that way. Jazz’s story is based on her real-life experience and she tells it in a simple, clear way that will be appreciated by picture book readers, their parents, and teachers.” reported that after the teacher introduced the 5-year-old student to the class as a boy, he then went into the bathroom, and the teacher “then reintroduced ‘her’ to the children, explaining ‘she’ was now a ‘girl’ who now had a girl’s name and was to be called that from now on.”

The report said the “ceremony” traumatized some of the students, including girls who went home crying to their parents, asking if they were going to turn into a boy.

Many parents were upset about the event, especially since they were not informed beforehand that it was going to take place.

Brad Dacus, president of the Pacific Justice Institute, which has been providing legal advice to the parents, told KTXL-TV “the majority of parents who had children in this kindergarten did not think that it would be age appropriate.”

The school district is arguing it did not need to notify parents before the event took place, since it falls under “diversity and tolerance curricula” and not sex education.

In response, some parents circulated a petition demanding that the school inform parents before any provocative material is presented to their children. The school district has changed its policy, and now controversial books such as “I am Jazz” must be submitted for approval to the school board. But the district still has not conceded that it is the parents’ right to know ahead of time when their children might be exposed to such a hotly debated topic.

Michelle Cretella, president of the American College of Pediatricians, has denounced such indoctrination of children as child abuse.

“All children should be told the truth that sex does not ever change and cannot be changed,” Cretella told LifeSiteNews in an email. “All children should be nurtured to embrace their bodies and the reality of their biological sex. All children should be affirmed as the unique boys or girls their bodies proclaim them to be.”

Now ask yourself, how do you think this approach will affect our future in America?  And what action do you think they will take next?  Could it be that the new action would be even more radical than this..?

And how much more is required before we’re ready for the revolution??  Or has it started already?

Communism in America — Local Proof

After giving several talks on the subject of communism in America, I am convinced that people just can’t bring themselves to believe it is a possibility that communists exist in this country.  When in fact, they are here now, and have been for over 100 years.  And being a Texas resident, my neighbors who are of the more conservative persuasion find it even harder to get their head wrapped around.  Ah, but wait.  We even have local evidence!

It recently came to my attention that our fair capital is the home of such a group.  I’ve always referred to Austin as being San Francisco east and part of the iron curtain here in America.  But I now have found proof.  Austin has a ‘progressive’ group named ‘Red Guard Austin’.  What is their mission?  Go to the following Facebook page and look around.  You’ll find on the top left corner of their page a clue which says “Fight Racists in the Streets, become a communist”.  Listen to the speech dated Aug. 14, 2017.  You’ll get the idea pretty quick that these ‘children of ours’ are a bit confused and want to bring on the destruction of our society as it stands today.

Scroll down and read the other posts listed — for example the one on Charlottesville.  Keep in mind that this is a ‘communist’ Facebook page!  If they are against the fascists, ask yourself who they are?  If they’re against white supremacists, you’d think they were the good guys.  No.  What we are facing is Nazis and communists — both from the left.  Now ask yourself how we’re going to get past this mess!?!

Reg Guard Austin

It’s taken us 100 years to get here.  I doubt we’ll dig our way out in short order…?
